1973 rocumentary Jimi Hendrix will be screened in the Elgar Room as part of the Hall’s Summer of Love: Revisited series.

Made three years after the guitarist’s untimely death, this film contains concert footage spanning his Marquee appearance in 1967 to his last UK performance at the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival, and also features appearances from the likes of Eric Clapton, Little Richard and Lou Reed.

This special screening will be hosted by director Joe Boyd, who will hold a post-screening Q&A about the film. Please click here for more information.

This Friday evening (Feb 26)  the Victoria & Albert Museum will be holding one of their Friday Late Specials – this month’s theme is Radio.

Joe will ‘perform’ a few elongated versions of the A-Z podcast. Admission is free, it starts at 6:30 and goes until 10. He’ll be in a room near the ‘ethical’ rum bar on the first floor with a good sound system. Admission is free.
